I am a Christian writer and speaker with a passion for mercy and justice.
I tackle tough topics, modern slavery, domestic violence, migration, with an underlying message of hope and transformation. I have a particular interest in East Africa and South Sudan.
I chair the board of All Together in Dignity, ATD Fourth World, a human rights based anti-poverty organisation, with more than fifty years experience of tackling inequality and promoting social justice. Frimhurst Family House, in Surrey, gives adults, children and young people living below the poverty line the chance to enjoy family holidays, take part in social events, explore their creativity, find their voice, and get involved in ATD Fourth World’s work.
I live near London with my husband, who loves numbers and finds writing baffling. We are opposites who inspire each other. We have a tiny Yorkshire terrier called ‘Buddy’, a poor choice for two busy people, as we are constantly tripping over him!
